ABOUT THE WALKERTON KINSMEN CLUB:
With over 20 active members, we are one of the longest standing Kinsmen Clubs in Ontario, and are proud to be the oldest active service club in Walkerton. Over the years, the club has been very involved in the community:
  • Organized fundraiser BBQ's in the community throughout the year
  • Held Annual Percy Dawson Memorial Golf Tournament (2022- present)
  • Revived Walkerton's Citizen of the Year event in 2023, to be held every 3-5 years.
  • Hosted Novelty Casino Night & Raffle from 2019-2022 (Yes held virtual throughout COVID) 
  • Sponsored Grapevines, Beer Steins & Moonshine event in 2017
  • Sponsored EIEIO Family Farm Tour event in 2016
  • Sponsored & organized fund raising drive for Walkerton Splash Pad 2013 – 2016
  • Helped organize and run the Saugeen Home & Recreation Expo for many years
  • Provided aid during the E-coli crisis of 2001
